โœฆ Synopsis

of Child Development PURPOSE This study explores the relationship between various patient characteristics and MMPI admission two-point code-type. Specifically, the immediate goals were (1) to identify most frequent first administration two-point code-type populations, (2) to establish mean MMPI profiles for these various populations, and (3) to describe the various code populations in terms of (a) sex, (b) age, (c) marital status, (d) years of formal education, (e) Shipley Institute of Living test indices, and (f) initial and modal psychological diagnosis, the former being the diagnostic impression developed by the psychologist through interview and testing procedures, prior to consultation with medical or social work personnel. *Sicere thanks are due to Roland M. Peek and the other staff members of Hastines State Hospital (Hastings, Minnesota) for the support and guidance received and to Robert D. Wirt and Arthur J. Gallese for their helpfrd criticism and encouragement.
