โœฆ Synopsis

Mitzy Neuhaus is dying to get back to business as usual, but The Worst Economy Since The Great Depression has just about killed her real estate business. But when the excessive interest of the FBI, city planners, and possibly the Mafia, threaten to derail Mitzy's plans things really get dangerous...

Christian Cozy Mystery

Review

The addictively entertaining Eminent Domain picks up where the first Mitzy Neuhaus novel left us - in the property where Mitzy and Alonso found the jewels. Hilton skilfully interweaves different plot strands involving property conversion, the FBI and a romance among other things ... I was surprised at how moved I was by aspects of the ending. But it is a testament to this addictive and enjoyable book that I found myself yearning for the next Mitzy installment. --A. S. Anand, author of 2032

As a person who is interested in historic homes, renovation and city planning, I was particularly drawn in. But when the novel exploded into an action packed thriller, I was even further rewarded. The author really knows how to draw a character and paint a description. She writes with ease and humor and throws just a little bit of Christian ethic into the romance aspect of the book, staying away from the urge to go sexy. The romance is sweet never-the-less, and adds plenty of extra interest. Finally, as the story takes place in Portland, Oregon, I enjoyed it even more so, because, though I'm not from Portland, I love the city, and enjoyed traveling the streets and visiting the neighborhoods and local spots by proxy. Well done! --Georgina Young-Ellis, author of The Time Barroness
