Substantial resources have been allocated by the company for this work. Atofina is to dedicate an 80,000 tonne/y line for metallocene products at its 260,000 tonne/y bimodal high density PE plant that is due on stream later in 2002 in Antwerp. The company has a 30,000 tonne/y capacity for syndiotactic PP at La Porte, TX. Metallocene isotactic PP capacity is also available at Atofina's sites in La Porte and Feluy, Belgium.
