✦ Synopsis

Alum'act--The miscibility behaviour of poly(chloromethyl methacrylate) (PCMMA) and poly(2-chloroethyl methacrylate) (PCEMA) with poly(~-caprolactone) (PCL) was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry. Each of these blends exldbited a single composition-dependent glass transition temperature indicative of miscibility. Based on the melting point depression of PCL in the blends, the interaction parameters were found to be -0.82 and -0.76 for PCMMA/PCL and PCEMA/PCL blends respectively.

The miscibility of poly(chloromethyl methacrylate) (PCMMA) with poly(£)-methylstyrene-co-acrylonitrile) (~MSAN) of various compositions was studied by differential scanning calbrimetry. PCM~A is miscible with ~MSAN over a composition range of ~3-42 wt% AN. The phase behaviour allows evaluation of tw
