✦ Synopsis

Solid-state NMR was used to investigate the miscibility of LLDPE/polyamide-6 blends. Two different blends B1 and B2, obtained with LLDPE only and with LLDPE functionalized with diethyl succinate, respectively, as well as their individual components, were characterized by means of I3C selective techniques. Measurement of 'H spin-lattice relaxation times in both laboratory and rotating frames allowed the miscibility at a molecular level to be investigated for both blends: in B 1 the domains of the different components are on average larger than 100-200 A, whereas in B2, where two different fractions could be separated on the basis of their solubility in heptane, the average linear dimensions of the insoluble fraction are between 20 and 200 A.

## Abstract The thermal aging of polyamide 4,6 was investigated by DSC, SEM, WAXS, and ^1^H solid‐state NMR. Phase composition, chain mobility, morphology, and domain sizes were determined as a function of aging time. Proton transverse magnetization relaxation was measured at low resonance frequenc

The miscibility of polyvinylphenol (PVPh) or terpenephenol (TPh) with polyoxymethylene (POM) was examined by high-resolution solid-state 13 C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. It was found that the driving force for the mixing of POM and PVPh is the hydrogenbonding interaction between t
