✦ Synopsis
Neurossonography is a very useful tool for diagnosis of different diseases in newborn babies. This work is intended to improve the educational process of medicine students and residents in radiology trainee. Our purpose is to develop an interactive tool, based on multimedia technique with the main aspects of neurossonography: slice acquisition, anatomy, and the main findings in neuropathology. It is a part of a major computer aided instruction project in neuroradiology. The main steps we used to produce the images and preliminary results of this method will be shown. By the end of this project, the fmal product will be an integrated multimedia tool in various radiological modalities, such as MR, CT, angiography and ultra-sound.
