โฆ Synopsis
joint meeting of the Section and of the Philadelphia Section of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers was held in the Hall of The Franklin Institute on Thursday evening, October 23, I913, at 8 o'clock. Mr. H. A. Hornor and Mr. A. R. Cheyney presided jointly.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved. Mr. F. W. Peek, Jr., Consulting Engineer, General Electric Company, presented a paper entitled " High-Voltage Engineering," in which he considered some of the problems relating to the insulating of high-tension lines.
The subject was illustrated by lantern slides. After some discussion, the thanks of the meeting were extended the speaker.
