โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

miniaturized microstripโ€fed antenna composed of a broadside coupled splitโ€ring resonator and an excitation rectangular arcโ€shaped monopole is presented. Numerical and experimental results are presented for an antenna configuration of 1/28 wavelength in diameter (kaโˆผ0.1125). The antenna size including the ground plane is 60 ร— 38.5 mm^2^, and it is operating at 179 MHz. Its resonant frequency can be tuned over a good range of frequency without changing the antenna size, which can increase its usable bandwidth using reconfigurable antenna techniques. ยฉ 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract We present a miniaturized dualโ€passband filter module designed using doubleโ€split complementary split ring resonator (DSโ€CSRR) and split ring resonator (SRR). The use of SRR results in a significant size reduction of the filter comparing with edgeโ€coupledโ€line filters. Two passbands are
