## Abstract In this letter, resonance properties of a miniaturized rectangular cavity resonator (MRCR) based on anisotropic metamaterials bilayer are investigated. The resonance equations for the electromagnetic wave in a rectangular cavity filled with anisotropic metamaterials bilayer are solved a
