β¦ Synopsis
In this paper we report new measurements on the (\Delta J=1) transitions of seven isotopomers of hydrogen cyanide ( (\mathrm{HCN}) ) in most of the vibrational states below (2000 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}). These states are (v_{1} v_{2}^{t} v_{3}=00^{0} 0,01^{1} 0,02^{0,2} 0,03^{1,3} 0), and (00^{0} 1) ( (\nu_{2}) represents the bending and (v_{3}) the (\mathrm{C}-\mathrm{N}) stretching mode). All measurements were made in the millimeter-wave region of the spectrum between 138 and (483 \mathrm{GHz}). For ({ }^{14} \mathrm{~N})-containing species nuclear hyperfine splitting was observed and analyzed by contour fitting. The determined transition frequencies were analyzed to evaluate the rotational molecular constants. Nuclear quadrupole coupling constants, ((e Q q)_{\mathrm{N}}), for ({ }^{14} \mathrm{~N})-containing species and rotational constants (effective constants as well as unperturbed constants resulting from l-type resonance analysis) for all the seven considered species and all measured transition frequencies are given in this paper.
