β¦ Synopsis
The pure rotational spectrum of the deuterated ethynyl radical, CCD, in the vz = 1' and uz=2' states was observed in the mlllimeter-and submillimeter-wave region, yielding further information on the vibronic mteraction between the % %+ and A % states. Precise molecular constants have been determined for the two vibrational states. The rotational constant changed nonlinearly with the vz quantum number. The effective spin-orbit interaction constant in v2 = 1 was -6365.7 ( ) MHz, compared with -10391.58( ) MHz for CCH in u2= 1. The vibration-rotation constants cr2 of CCH and CCD are discussed in terms of the vibronic mteraction between A and .%.
