✦ Synopsis

A fluorescence stopped-flow techmque rs described that has been used for the determination of the rate of migration of pyrene mokcules between smgle-wall lipid vesicles. The analysts of the evpenmental results suggests that the migration process occurs mainly via the aqueous phase at a rate bruited by the exrt of the pyrene molecules from the vesidw. The rate constant for the exit process was obtamed as 4 X LO* s-' at 25Β°C for pyrene in soybean !ecnhin vesicles containing 10% dicetylphosphate (vesrcle radius 320 A) m 20 mhi Trrss bufier (pIf = 7.4).

In this study, the electrochemical behavior of tiron in aqueous solutions and the influence of pH were investigated. A change of pH mainly produces the following results. In acidic solutions of pH below 4, the electrode reaction of tiron exhibits a simple process at a relatively high potential with

## Abstract The kinetics of oxidation of vanillin (VAN) by diperiodatocuprate(III) (DPC) in alkaline medium at a constant ionic strength of 0.50 mol dm^βˆ’3^ was studied spectrophotometrically. The reaction between DPC and vanillin in alkaline medium exhibits 1:2 stoichiometry (vanillin: DPC). The re
