The American College of Nurse‐Midwives has accepted, with deep regret, the resignation of Lisa Paine as Editor‐in‐Chief of the Journal of Midwifery & Women's Health. We extend our sincere thanks to her for the significant contributions she made during her tenure in this position. The editorial published in this issue was completed prior to her resignation and is included as a tribute to the vision she brought to the journal.
