## Abstract Catalyst‐ and base‐free Suzuki coupling of sodium tetraphenylborate with hypervalent iodonium salts and iodanes was achieved with the aid of microwave irradiation in water, providing a convenient method for the formation of carbon–carbon bonds in good yields in short times. (© Wiley‐VCH
