✦ Synopsis
Double-resonance effects have been observed in a pulsed molecular beam Fourier transform microwave spectrometer with signal frequencies between 8 and 12 GHz and pump frequencies between 12 and 25 GHz. For applying the pump power a second Fabry-Perot cavity was installed perpendicularly to the main Fabry-Perot cavity and perpendicularly to the beam axis. Assignments of rotational transitions of the water dimer have been checked and two new transitions have been measured with this technique.
