β¦ Synopsis
Dielectric constant and loss values have been obtained between 1 and 35 GHz for several:polyhydroxyl alcohols in p-dioxane solution at 25OC. The data have been analyzed in terms of a Cole-Cole distribution. The relaxation times are sensitive to the proximity of the hydroxyl groups and the degree of intramolecular hydrogen bonding.
