✦ Synopsis
Microwave assisted ring opening of (R)-styrene epoxide with pyrazole and imidazole gives the corresponding (RI-configurated (1-phenyl)(2-azolyl)ethanols in high yields. In the case of pyrazote, the application of microwave heating increases both, cbemo-and regioselectivity compared to conventional heating methods.
