Courses have been a highlight of the Academy Meetings for years, so it is not surprising that the presentation of the material in text form is excellent as well. For the most part, the authors of each chapter have been presenting their courses at the AAO-HNS Annual Meeting for several years, and the material has been digested, questioned, reshaped, and re-presented with the input of their audiences as well as the volume editors.

The editors have selected 28 of the courses that they feel would be of greatest interest to otolaryngologists. In this volume, they have organized the courses into 5 categories: Current Concepts in Otolaryngology, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Otology, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Head and Neck Surgery.
