✦ Synopsis
Ceramic samples of (Pbo.6Cuo.s)LaSrCan_lCUnOx, (n= 1, 2) were synthesized in air and characterized using micro-Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. In the (Pbo.6Cuo.5)LaSrCuOx ceramics the following phases were identified: (Pbo.sCuo.s)LaSrCuOs+~, (Sr,La)l(Pb, Cu)lO3, (Sr, Ca)14Cu24041 and (Las_xSr~)CusO20_6; in the (Pbo.6Cuo.s)LaSrCaCu2Ox ceramics: (Pbo.sCuo.5)LaSrCaCu207_,~, (Sr,Ca,La) 14Cu24041, (Sr, Ca, La)l (Pb,Cu) iO3 and Ca2PbO4. The polarized Raman spectra of (Pbo.sCuo.s) LaSrCa,_ ~Cu,O~ ( n = 1, 2 ) are discussed accounting for the disorder in the (Pb,Cu) -O planes. A comparison of the (Sr, Ca,La)l (Pb,Cu)mO3 pseudocubic perovskite phase with the Dou's phase (the hexagonal Pb3Sr2Ca2Cu~Ox) suggests that the structure of the latter compound could be considered as a slightly deformed perovskite. Raman spectra of the other additional phases were also measured and discussed.
