The quantum yields for production of I(2P3,2) and I\*('P& at 248 nm are reported for a variety of alkyl and substituted-alkyl iodides using the technique of two-photon atomic laser-induced fluorescence. These results are combined with those of others to provide quantum yields over a wide range of ra
