✦ Synopsis

In the nonplanar title compound, C 18 H 14 O 4 , the dihedral angle between the isochromene and benzene ring systems is 83.32 (6) . The crystal structure is stabilized by intra-and intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions, the latter resulting in centrosymmetric dimers.
