Indirect Mothods of Calculating Ternary Diffusion Matrix
We siimmarised, in part one of this paper, procedures of measuring diffusion matrix in thrce-component single phase alloys direct from the concentration-distribution profiles in infinite diffusion couples. In this paper (Part XI) some procedures have been outlined which enable calculate ternary diffusion matrix from easily measurable tracer coefficienh in ideal and non-ideal single phase solid solutions. A comparison between various methods to determine diffusion coefficients of polymers in dilute solutions has been made. It is shown that Taylor dispersion analysis (TDA), dynamic light scattering (DLS), hydrodynamic chromatography (HDC), and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) can all be used to acc
