✦ Synopsis

A set of tools is presented which will enhance the teaching of courses in finite element analysis. These tools provide an enhanced learning environment for students by allowing them to write a portion of the solution software while maintaining the advantage of using robust, multifeatured commercial software in the model-building and results visualization stages.
