inner diameter (d1, 7, 9) of the seal (2) is larger than all of the national and/or international sealing and working standard dimensions for the inner diameter for flat gaskets, known to the public before 27 November 2007 or before 27 November 2008, in relation to the pre-defined outer diameter (d2, 2a, 11). The purpose is to ensure that the gasket does not overlap the flow passage when it is not correctly centralised.
