Thus, the spheres of mesophase detected by our expe. riment are barely suspended in the fluid matrix, while the system studied by Kumura er al. was quite different in the further extent of development of spheres, i.e. in the environment, from our experiment. Thus, the lower apparent activation energy obtained in our experiment is understandable if one notices these differences in the fluid behaviour.
