T cinomatous metastasis to the brain has been tabulated many times, both clinically and retrospectively from autopsy data, and the re-33-37 This prospective autopsy investigation was undertaken because of the opportunity to examine the entire central nervous system and the lumbar dorsal root ganglia from a large number of patients with cancer while avoiding the many variables of other studies.
