✦ Synopsis

Asymmetric cyclopropanation of styrene by an enantiopure carbenoid under catalysis by simple metalloporphyrins was found to be much more efficient and selective than the alternative approach, the combination of metal complexes of enantiopure porphyrins and a non-chiral diazoester.
