✦ Synopsis

For thin film solar cells, the substrate material and properties of the substrate are an integral part of the device. We propose using metallic glass as a new substrate material. A unique property of this substrate is its amorphousness and electrical conductivity, a combination not obtainable in the materials presently used as substrates.
