✦ Synopsis
The 1,3-allylic rearrangement of allylic alcohols is an important transformation in organic synthesis and various methods for effecting such a transposition have been reported. This short review will focus on the development of transition metal oxo complexes as catalysts for the isomerisation of allylic alcohols. Mechanistic investigations are also discussed.
