✦ Synopsis


Abstracti-The hydrogen and oxygen electrode reactions were examined on a Pt-SPE (Nafion) electrode with the condition that tbe platinum side was in contact with gaseous phase. The polarization curve shows an Ohmic relation determined mainly by the solution and membrane resistances. The removal of the solution resistance improves the above polarization characteristics to a large extent.
