AbstractÐTreatment of gem-dibromocyclopropanes with trialkylmanganate, derived from manganese(II) chloride and three equivalents of Grignard reagent or alkyllithium, followed by an addition of electrophiles provided dialkylated cyclopropanes in good yields. It was found that the reaction of gem-dibr
