β¦ Synopsis
Trends DMFC with mixed reactant/air anode
The performance of a PEM DMFC with aqueous methanol and air mixed at the anode is compared with aqueous methanol only. The mixed methanol reactant/air fed anode DMFC offers superior performance to the conventional methanol-only fed anode DMFC, apparently due to higher liquid saturation in the anode diffusion layer and faster removal of CO 2 at the anode.

In this study, a low-cost and high performance catalyst with core-shell structure of PdCu@PtRu/C for methanol oxidation is prepared by a two-step replacement reaction. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) examinations show that the composite catalyst particles distribut
Polyacrylonitrile nanofibrous mats coated with continuous thin gold films (Au-PAN) have been fabricated by combining the electrospinning and electroless plating techniques. The Pt particles are electrodeposited on the Au-PAN fibers surface by multi-cycle CV method, and the Au-PAN decorated with Pt (
