Third quarter 2010 Company Activity Comment IDEX Corp Acquired OBL Srl, an Italian manufacturer of mechanical and hydraulic diaphragm pumps. Headquartered in Milan and with annual revenues of approximately E8.5 million, OBL provides pumps, polymer blending systems and related accessories for a range of global industries, including water, wastewater, oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation (see Pump Industry Analyst, July 2010). OBL is the first pump acquisition that IDEX has made since acquiring Richter Chemie-Technik in October 2008. www.idexcorp.com and www.oblitalia.com Gardner Denver Inc Bought ILMVAC GmbH, a German provider of vacuum pumps, systems and accessories for R&D laboratories and industrial applications. Based in Ilmenau, Germany, ILMVAC had sales of E9.4 million in 2009 (see Pump Industry Analyst, July 2010).
