✦ Synopsis

Nick Hunter is a man without a past, no memories, and a future written in blood.

His memories vanished while he was in a coma as part of a botched special military operation. Now, all he knows is his job, delivering justice for an unknown employer simply called Splinter. For the first time, though, he must confront who he is and who he was.

A murder in Washington DC starts Nick down a disturbing path. He loses control of his own body, and starts to learn just who it is he works for, and what was done to him. His connection with the dead man is closer than he knows.

As his investigation continues, his past starts to rise and threatens his ability to function. Even worse, whoever committed the murder seems to know Nick, maybe even better than Nick knows himself.
