β¦ Synopsis
Memoirs of The Good Elf β the complete The Good Elf trilogy. The Good Elf is a fun, ofttimes zany, look at the world of the fae. Join Hannah Ladd and her friends on their frequently dangerous journey through the realms in her quest to learn who and what she is.
Book the First: The Novice Elf
By the time weβre twenty-seven, most of us have a fairly clear idea of how we expect our adult life to play out. Hannah wasnβt too concerned that she didnβt have a man to spend it with. That would either come, or it wouldnβt. She was happy enough running her vintage clothing store with her two partners.
At a Fantasy and Science Fiction convention, she met that missing man. Sure, he wasnβt really human. He claimed to be an elf. Then he proved it. She was forced to believe his claim that she was a magical being too β the only child of the queen of the White Elf Nation.
Book the Second: An Unlikely Elf
Her mother, whom Hannah refers to as Queen Elf Bitch because, well, that was a pretty descriptive name for her is deposed stemming from Hannahβs actions. To protect the White Elf Nation from a worse monarch than her mother, Hannah is forced to offer her support to remove the usurper and regain the throne. Political considerations cause her mother to abdicate in her favor.
In the course of righting wrongs, Hannah and her friends broach the Dark Elf palace and, eventually, take back the White Elf throne.
Book the Third: A Naughty Elf
Increasingly, Hannah wants to find her biological father β possibly to punish him for what he had done to her as an infant, possibly to have a few drinks, assuming he had a good reason for what he had done.
Bonus: The Good Elf Christmas
Hannah volunteers as a Santaβs helper at a nearby mall β chronologically, this short story takes place between books two and three. It is not necessary to read it in that order.
Join Hannah and her closest friends as she learns the truth about her heritage.
