Growth of (Cd 1ร€x Zn x ) 1+y Te(CZT) single crystals is tried by a modified Bridgman method using a reservoir chamber containing Cd and Zn metals with a fixed mole ratio. The aim of this method is to obtain the single crystals with controlled deviation y from stoichiometry and homogeneous target com
