The general objective of its work is the reduction of radio interference.

This Committee has had two previous meetings at which a large number of questions were studied, leading to 50 Opinions on a wide variety of technical radio problems. These Opinions do not have the force of regulations, but they are accepted by all governments as the authoritative expression of the status of technical progress.

The subjects to be discussed at the Lisbon meeting are as follows:
