Thirty-eight patients with newly diagnosed medulloblastoma were studied with myelography and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cytology studies before radiotherapy. Seventeen (45%) patients had evidence of dissemination beyond the posterior fossa. Spinal cord lesions were demonstrated in ten patients (26%).
