✦ Synopsis

Laboratory centrifugal molecular distillation is described for the processing of an epoxy monomer/polymer mixture. Optimum operating conditions are outlined for separation of pure monomer from polymer at low temperature and feed-rate. Viscosity, epoxy values and n.m.r. spectra are utilised to characterise the distillate fractions to establish purity of products. The work concludes the series of papers describing the chemical process applications of medium-vacuum techniques.

presence of 02 leads to relaxation by slow spin diffusion to the paramagnetic site at low temperatures but by direct paramagnetic relaxation by diffusing 02 molecules at high temperatures. This effect is related to the temperature-dependent lifetime of the Oz-carbazole complex.
