✦ Synopsis

The reactions with CHjF of photochemically produced tritium atoms from TBr have been studied at various v+xvelengths. The energy threshold is lower and the relative yield higher for F replacement than for H repkement in CHaF. These near-threshold substitution reactions are consistent with an inversion mechanism.
