The electrodeposition of oxygenated rhenium species from ReO, acid solutions on polycrystalline Pt electrodes has been investigated. Results suggest that ReO, at sub-monolayer levels is probably involved as adsorbed species. Electrocatalytic effects observed in HCOOH electrooxidation can be interpre
