The electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrazine in basic solution at glassy carbon (gc) electrodes modified with a thin layer of polymeric cobalt phthalocyanines is described. Cyclic voltammetry (cu) in aqueous media yields a welldefined chemically irreversible anodic wave (E and peak currents for this
