## Abstract The acute effects of poisoning with organophosphorus compounds (OPCs) are well known and have been described extensively. Most of the clinical symptoms are due to inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. Although acute OPC poisoning is a well‐established clinical entity, the existence of chr
