## Abstract The thermal and mechanical properties of the biodegradable blends of poly(L‐lactic acid) (PLLA) and lignin prepared by manual mixing have been investigated. Both the results of DSC and FTIR spectral analyses indicated the existence of intermolecular interaction between PLLA and lignin.
