โœฆ Synopsis

For pedagogical, rather than scientific purposes, I attempted some time ago to arrange samples of hair on a chart according to their color. But almost immediately it became evident that such an arrangement would be impossible, since any spacial expression of hair color would have to be in three dimensions. But if the colors could not be charted, they could at least be measured, and I attempted to make this measurement accurately without resorting to the microscope. Naturally, the method which first suggested itself was to utilize the ordinary color wheel of the psychological laboratories.
