In several recent papers, the second named author introduces and studies some measures of noncompactness for fuzzy subsets of a classical (or of a fuzzy) metric space. The main purpose of this paper is that, by using the recent idea of I. Kupka, to introduce and to study some measures of noncompactness for fuzzy subsets of a (fuzzy) topological space.
