The joint use of moment analysis and comparison between calculated and &xperimenti DILS (depolarized interactioninduced light scattering) iineshapes allows the determination of the most probable empirical pair polarkbility anisotropy. This method has been appfied here to the case of Kr and Xe.

Significant mass displacements from the expected instrumental value have been observed in ion-trap experiments on several ionic species. This phenomenon has been extensively investigated and interpreted as the result of an interaction between the analyte and the radio-frequency field present within
## Abstract A new method is presented for studying the tertiary and possibly the secondary structure of a biopolymer, which is applied to the pHβdependent structural transition of potassium hyaluronate solutions. The method involves a new application of Dirac dispersion theory polarization dependen
