New filtering scheme is investigated and implemented on digital speckle pattern interferometric fringes to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in the speckle interferograms. To establish the potential of new filtering scheme the experiment was conducted on the vibrating cantilever beam. Experime
