✦ Synopsis

To get accurate values of the London penetration depths in YBa2CusOt, pSR measurements were performed on a high quality, sintered sample and a c-axls-oriented polycrystaL For the sintered sample the temperature dependence of the effective penetration depth Ae/y is well described by the two-fluid model, with AtH(0) ----155(10) nm. This behavior of A~jI(T) is consistent with conventional s-wave pairing. The anisotropy ratio A~/A~,b ~--5(1) was determined from measurements on the polycrystal. These results were

Accurate measurements of the AC susceptibility x(T) have been performed on oriented YBa2Cu307 powder samples of various calibrated sizes at nearly perfect 0 7 oxygen stoichiometry with an AC magnetic field applied either perpendicular or parallel to the ab plane. The changes in x(T) with the average
