✦ Synopsis


The emission probability of the 1077 keV y-ray from 86Rb has been derived from values of the disintegration rate and the y-ray intensity.

Both values have been measured by a 4nb(ppc))y(HPGe) coincidence apparatus using a live-timed bi-dimensional data acquisition system. The recommended value is 0.08884 k 0.00029.
